[Skahrs World] Late S2 wrap up, S3 plans

So, I ended season 2 with the duelist title. My 3's was just over 2k and my 2v2 was between 2100-2200 during the last couple of weeks. I found a new frost mage to do 2's with, 2 weeks before the season ended and we took my 2v2 team from 1900 to 2200 in a matter of a single week. This was the only time we had really played together and we meshed well to say the least. Before I tried 2's with Shaek, I was doing them with a UA warlock. Breaking 2050 was hard with said warlock. I strongly believe that my CB spec / playstyle works better with a frost mage because of the burst that we both offer. Dont let the forum trolls brain wash you, resilience does not cancell out crit and bursting is still possible even against 350-400 resilience targets. I am living proof. :)

My S3 plans are to continue doing 2's with Shaek. I am using the cookie cutter make up of Rogue/Mage/Priest for 3's. We are 21-9 in 3v3 at the moment (armory is still showing me on a team I left about 1 month ago : / ) and most of those 9 losses were because of silly first target mistakes. Once we get in the groove, hitting gladiator will be around the corner.

I have respecd for this season as I am trying out 30/0/31 SF hemo again, mainly because I have my crit at a reasonable level even against high resil targets. I basically lost master of sub and sinister calling for imp KS and SF. I am still stacking enchants / gems offensively just like last season except I am a little more crit heavy for SF now. Imp Kidney Shotting a target at below 35% is just like having the zerker buff in a bg for all of your special moves, this is huge damage. I will be picking up the S3 fist weapons next, as I have already purchased the head, chest and gloves. Full S3 Set + S3 fists looks SO BEAST, I cant wait :).

Departure from the Norm... Heroes of the Storm.

So just a wanted to post a little something about a couple of friends of mine... whats the point in having a podium if you don't get up on it and say something right? Anyway they have a Band called Heroes' of the Storm. They were selected by the local Radio Station here in Orlando, FL. to be one of 3 bands with a chance to open for Papa Roach. So if you find yourself taking a break from wow for a couple of moments click the link in the title of this post... or http://www.orock1059.com/pages/1202167.php go there... to vote for Heroes of the Storm. ~Cerias Shadows

[Skahrs World] A Small test on the new NORMALIZED 2.3 Hemo

I have yet to mke a post on this blog since the release of my video. The reason for this being very busy in real life. I'm starting to get a little more free time as of late and will try to post a couple times a week here again :)

Hemo Buff in 2.3 and My Current Test
Hemo is being normalized in 2.3 meaning we no longer need to seek out a 2.8 speed weapon to get optimal damage from the spec. A good amount of AP and a high top end weapon should do the trick. So I was reading the new tool tip and realized it now does 125% Weapon damage instead of weapon damage alone. So, i decided to do a small test and see how much harder it would crit on a low lvl mob with little to no armor, before the debuff is applied. Here are my SS results:

http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/Skahr44/HEMO22LIVE.jpg - Hemo on live 2.2
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/Skahr44/HEMO23PTR.jpg - Hemo on PTR 2.3

The new 2.3 normalized hemo was critting an average of 319 damage harder, before the applied debuff and with an S2 Mace at 1743 AP. This was taken from an average of 10 hemo crits. I will consider this a buff by a long shot. I havent tested it yet with the debuff applied or with a target below 35%, but I do plan on doing that soon. Hemo in its current state is fine in my opinion, it is going to be amazing after the release of 2.3. Not to mention all the armor penetration we will have. Assuming you wear all of the PvP Items you can for A-Pen (Cloak, Veng Gear, Veng Weaps, Ring) and have the Serrated Blades talent, you can attain up to 1078 armor penetration. 1078 A-Pen, 36 dmg debuff, and 20% boost to specials on targets below 35% will be HUGE for finishing off our opponents in the arena.

My plans for Season 3 will be to scoop up the fist weps, and try to attain 2,000 ubuffed AP, will staying above 30% crit and 10k HP. In order to do this, I'm sure I will have to skip out on some of the new PvP Items for Raid/Heroic Items.
