Well I haven't made a new post in a little while so I should bring everyone up to date on whats happening behind the scenes at RogueSpot. We have been busy... off a suggestion of a Cloak-and-Dagger member we opened discussion sometime ago about a very strict Theory Crafting forum. Ive added some new forum mods to the RogueSpot team to help handle this new forum which will be heavily moderated to the point where not abiding by the rules will result in people having their posting privileges removed.

We are currently populating the forum and consolidating some of the Theory Craft posts that have been circulating around RogueSpot. Consider us cutting the fat from some of the greater mathematical discussions happening behind the scenes.

If you want to get in on the new forum make sure you join the Cloak-and-Dagger members group. The new forum is a private 40+ Rogue only forum. There are a lot of cool things the mods want to do with this new forum so stay tuned. We like to consider RogueSpot the creme of the crop of the Rogue Community and with the new forum hope to make RogueSpot the premiere source of educated Theory Craft discussion. We look forward to hijacking threads from the Official forums and bringing them under controlled discussion like only our Rabid Blood Thirsty mods can manage.

And if this post comes across a little over the top theres a good reason. Were the best.

These are a day old but im posting them anyway! Im not thrilled about the disembowel change. Maybe if it didnt use our combo points and instead used just the charges of deadly poison on the target. That would pretty sweet. So its like eviscerate except I also have to have 5 charges of deadlty on the target... wtf is the point? Some one please comment on why this skill is needed.

The best thing I have noticed is Cloak of Shadows... this is making the Sub line really really nice looking. After watching a good premed video im stoked for the pvp power from a 41 talent point build here.

So I am off! Part 1 of a two part trip to Maryland and the surrounding areas for my friends bachelor party / wedding. The best part is he has no clue im flying in yet... ill just be chilling in his house drinkin his beer when he walks in from work. Then were kidnapping him for a weekend long bachelor party. So im flying out of the flacid penis of the US towards colder weather... They actually told me to pack wool. I was like wool? I live in Florida artards, I dont own any wool! I actually had to look up how to spell it myself. Allright thats enough of that no more references to southpark either.

I recently changed how RogueSpot sends and receives email. The only noticeable difference on the user end should be (hopefully) less unsent activation emails and a different from address (admin@roguespot.com)

If your still having issues with receiving your verification e-mails ... etc! Just IM me through the Meebome widget on this page. Just leave a message saying that you need your account activated and your username. Oh yea and a Please! goes a long way to getting it done quick.

With that out of the way the page this link takes you too reveals how the virus is constructed. How to find it in your running processes. Why most programs cant detect the virus and a whole lot more. If your not interested in clicking off RogueSpot I will give you the short and simple version.

First if your a windows user hit (CTRL + ALT + DEL) bring up your task manager. Flip to the Processes tab and check for the following process. svch0st.exe note this is not svchost.exe which is legit. The first one has the 0 replaced with a zero. You can delete this virus by:

1. Goto your Windows/system32 folder, and delete the svch0st.exe file.
2. If you are comfortable enough, you may remove it from your registry also.

The rest of the page goes on to reveal how the virus sends your information and the information of the hacker/hacked since I beleive the poster that the owner of the system this info is being sent to has no idea its happening. He did mention he has the MSN id of the actual hacker which he would reveal to a blizz employee but we can only hope.

Jairek has posted a guide in the SI:7 Library on how the new burning crusade rating system will work compared to the way percentages work with the current system. He goes over how your +%crit items will be effected. Very good read! It looks like Hand of Justice will keep its scalability as well! Hold on to that one!

The Entire system seems to work around the idea of forcing people to upgrade, as well as making sure the +crit +hit items dont get out of control in the new expansion and future expansion. My first response was of course... ah crap nerf! But closer consideration makes me say props to blizz for making a decent effort at fighting mudflation. Moves like this will make sure WoW stays playable for a long time and does not sky rocket into the +100 STA items by the next expansion.
