Well this time RogueSpot.com is staying put... but im moving to Orlando. Used the rest of my vacation time and Ill be heading down this weekend. VitaminC from the WoW Rogue Forums has a nice blog started cataloging his progression through WoW and lots of Math and Forumulas. A very good place if you like the math behind the game or to kick up some discussion. Definitly worth checking out.

For those of you that got a chance to use Rogue Equip before Urme had to take down the site due to bandwidth concerns your in luck, the site is back up and being hosted by the good folks of Azzor!

You can find the site http://rogueequip.azzor.com/. If you have never used rogue equip it is basically a character profiler. However all the profilers that I have used in the game so far require some 3rd party program to run while wow is running to collect data. It also means the only profiles I can build are the ones that I currently have the items to build.

Rogue Equip lets you select items from its database and build your own. This is great for folks that want to create "goal" or "fr" profiles. Want to see how high you can get your attack? RogueEquip is the easy way to do it.

Rogue Equip is still in Beta I beleive and there are still lots of items to be added to the database but the more people that check it out and give their feedback the quicker this will become the ultimate rogue theory crafting profile tool.

Well Ill be heading to Orlando this weekend to party it up and interview for a kick ass job. Don't want to jinx myself by talking about the job too much before hand. Needless to say I am crossing my fingers.

Cool stuff going on to watch out for... well theres always the discussion in the forums but also look to http://priestspot.blogspot.com I have a close friend whos working on that site and it should see some changes and start to fill out soon. Stop by to lend a hand if your a priest or offer up some encouragement.

Upa's been making regular updates to his Rogue Strips so if you haven't been stopping by on a regular basis you should do that. I personally find myself thinking... "That is so true... " to half the updates he makes. http://www.roguespot.com/upa

I think Prozen is working on some material for us to drool over... concerning AQ... should be cool. Speaking of drooling has anyone else seen the new Female Blood Elf Models? Good Lord!

Brogetta is looking for someone to maintain the RogueDPS Calc program which is now freely downloadable, I would also like to find someone interested in maintaining the DPS Calc program and host it on RogueSpot too. So take a look at the code under Downloads and see if its something you would like to do.

So my first impression of AQ has been ho hum... to say the least. The opening of the gates by collecting low level mats /yawn. I like many others assumed that that was all there is to it. You turn your mats in and then the gate opens. They never mentioned there was an amazing quest line that spawned almost every raid instance in the game as well as a couple of others.

Fires of Heaven an Old School Uber EQ guild that lives for the PVE content has posted pics of this quest and the gate opening. I can only assume that they did this on the test server with the accelerated opening. They have screen shots of quest dialog, and fraps of some of the fights and the actual opening of the gates of AQ.

They Frapsed some of it which is cool since only 5 people per server will probably get to do this quest line. Another cool thing I noticed is that the entire server gets notified when these events start going off. I think they said about 300-500 People showed up for the Moonglade event.

After reading some of the cool quest line these guilds get to do im almost jealous. Dont fool yourself though. While the War Preparations are Server wide this quest line can only be done by a guild that is clearing MC and BWL with ease.

Found a link that ranks the servers in AQ gate openings progress. Should be interesting to watch. Supposedly gorgonnash was doing really good but has been slipping progressivly. Hows your server doing?

Well I started looking around in places I havent checked.... and double checking those I have already been to. The result is a bunch of updates on the side bar here at RogueSpot. I have a slew of new links to the SI: 7 Library here at RogueSpot. So long as the Cloak and Dagger Members choose to keep the Library open those links will be accesible from the main page.

I am starting to hit the WoW EU Forums gonna be linking up some of their stickies. Theres also some other interesting links mixed in with the old. I beleive the solo guide sticky is up from the Rogue forums and of course the RogueSpot forums themselves are really chugging along.

With the latest set of dungeons coming out and the need to build Cenarion Circle Rep out I thought it might be a good idea to point everyone in the direction of a good reputation guide.

At first I wanted to have everyone find some to submit to RogueSpot. However I think that the one linked to in the title at WoW Wikki is sufficient at the moment.

They have something for almost every faction plus information on the rewards you can get at each level of reputation gained. Its probably a great starting point if you are just starting out work on a particular faction. I used the site to gather information on Thorium brotherhood. I was sitting squarly at 0 Nuetral faction and gathered the mats to boost me to friendly in a couple of hours of farming and some gold spent at the AH.

If you find guides that are more complete then what you see at the Wikki please do not hesitate to send them into me or post about them on the forums. If we get enough I may start rep section here at RogueSpot as it looks like there will be many more factions and much more reputation to earn as the game progresses.

Someone took the time to throw the first version of the 1.9 patch notes and the new version of the patch notes into Source Safe and perform a show differences on them.

It reveals some interesting stuff plus an extra fix for Rogues. Check it out here!

With the opening of the forums this past month and many charitable donators that wish to remain anonymous I decided to hold a small contest for those Rogues that were members of the private Cloak-and-Dagger forum. The Contest was posted in the Cloak-and-Dagger a week ago and the Rogues were given the option to tell their rogue friends about it or not to. In typical roguely fashion most of the Rogues kept it as secret as possible.

Now that I have recovered from the first hang over of the new year I have selected the winner. Using highly sofisticated /random technique the winner selected was Lithander!

Lithander has the option of taking the prize or passing on the prize to another Rogue who will again be randomly selected.

For those of you that didn't win, this will not be our last contest nor will they all be restricted to CnD members, but it helps to be one.
