Things to do in your spare time...
Been a while since I updated the main page of RogueSpot. But figured I might let everyone in on what I have been doing. I started off playing Wrath of the Lich King just like everyone else. I have to say that I really enjoyed it for about the first 7 levels. For one reason or another though about 10 minutes after I had received cold weather flying and flown around the map once or twice I lost interest in the expansion. My interest in WoW dead... mostly due to the constant and complete regearing of my character caused me to find other things to fill my time.
I had been watching alot of the world series of poker on tv and ended up checking out a great texas hold'em site. Kept me entertained for a while... but alas it is not an MMO and I had to feed the addiction... or at least upkeep both of my addictions... hah.
I restarted all 3 of my eve accounts for a while. Broke from my old corporation and put everything into my own corporation that I used to buy goods in safe high security space and then jump them out into the more dangerous regions of space where I could sell them for nearly 1000 times the normal price.
About the time that I was really getting this off the ground. I get an email from a friend about DarkFall releasing in the US. I started playing because its a full loot pvp game like Eve Online that all of my friends are playing. The first time we have all played the same game in a while. I have to admit while it is currently under populated it had tons of potential. The developers seem to be taking it in the right direction too.
I have to admit though I have seen the trailer for the new expansion... Cataclysm is what its called right? I will borrow a tag line from another game Blizzard has in the works... It's About Damn Time!

While I still play wow often, i have to say you are right about getting bored easily in wrath, tbh, you aren't missing anything spectacular in the rogue department, i've been running the same pvp spec since dinging 80 41/5/25.
Rogues feel a little old now in pvp, nothing really changed with the class in that department, i.e. no nice new abilities in pvp (fan of knives is useful for de-stealthing rogues that have just vanished and that's it), shadow dance was a nice idea but the spec doesn't really cut it and sub needs some work.
Of course we are still pretty strong, but I just hope the new expansion livens the class up in general, a viable pvp spec involving new skills/talents (like what every other class got), would be nice :)
good to see a fresh post after so long. GL with your other mmo's never played eve, and not thinking of trying darkfall anytime soon. I might however take a look at Aion.

Can you please fix the authentication system. Those of us who still play wow find ourselves unable to get forum access(after registering we just sit in limbo).

If you are done with the site please pass admin rights to someone who is still active in the community instead of letting it die off.
