Patch 1.10 Provides much needed lovin' for Rogues!
Well Patch 1.10 is out... it brings weather and some changes for Priests. But more importantly lots of tweaks for Rogues. Some of which are direct and others indirect. We now have the ability to apply poisons while stealthed which is a huge help when the situation calls for something more specialized. It also gives Rogues a reason to carry more then the default two poisons. Blind has been fixed as well being made a ranged attack so that it cannot be parried or blocked. There are a bunch of other small changes concerning slice and dice and blade furry. One of the indirect boosts to Rogues comes in the way of a Hunter Nerf! Flare now has a visual effect for its duration hopefully making the accidental revealings less common for the smart Rogues. Honestly I wouldn't call this a Nerf for hunters though I am sure they are screaming over it... I wont even go to the Hunter forums im just gonna assume they are complaining. This is more of a bug fix in my mind.
The only real nerf is the Trinket cooldown which will now be effecting several classes that use the duel trinket combo to get incredilby hard crits etc. Overall this is a pretty good patch for Rogues.

We can now use Potions while stealthed? or Poisons... err.. or both? SpellCheck error 4tw?

Seems like Vanish doesn't work near as well. I've had it break with no DoT's on me several times.
Just thought I'd mention, you can no longer mount or hearth while stealthed (it will break as soon as you start using either item).
Yeties in Winterspring can hit you while they are stuned (freez you). It's not fixed
yes i know and i HATE itl. Blizzard takes out all the funn. Before it was so cool to mount in stealth ,a black tiger jumps out of the shadows ,now its screwd -_______-
and preast now get like 1300 more armor whit inner fire(1500 whit talent) that means they can have about 2300-2600 armor. I have almost full epic gear wich gives me a crappy 1905 armor. Typical Blizzard acts first thinks later or naver thinks.

rcot and zhm combo has been nerfed... also pve suppression room has been toughened I guess this patch was mainly to give the peeps with blues a chance more overall
More of a PvE fix, but I love the fact that mobs do not get an initial hit on us when opening with Cheap Shot!
Can someone double check..I don't think my blade flurry is taking out totems anymore :(
Happy for you PvP rogues :) For us raiding PvE rogues who are looking for a bit of versatility beyond doing marginally more damage than a damage specced lock,hunter. warrior or mage this is nothing....absolutely nothing. Not that I expected great things to happen, but still. We got a very minor postive fix to S&D and a very minor negative fix to BF. Both logical and sensibel, but basically no change. Must admit I'm getting more and more sceptical about what Blizzard thinks rogues are gonna be of use in endgame PvE raiding.
Hmmm... Vanish seems to be broken to some extents: I've been spotted more than once.
Using a ranged weapon breaks stealth not the moment the arrow/bullet is released, but slightly before.
No more HS while stealthed
In istances I've been attacked while being out of combat and stealthed: the mobs came right to me, when one of my group-mates was killed. Same thing while vanishing: one vanish is not enough to get you out of trouble. I've been forced to use prep+vanish in some cases
I hope that some of these changes were not intended and they will be fixed soon
And also this path brings us many annoying bugs :( The worse is freeze of all abilites after being feared or mind-controlled (new target-returning mechanics bugged!).

I was dueling hunters on 1.10 I see 2x flare! WTF IS THIS? and.... Our detect traps been nerfed or something? I cant see the traps anymore.
so when I dueld him I thought hmmmm this is weird dueling a hunter without using my Barov trinket anymore then sueenly got trapped which I didnt even see.
WTF is up with them I was dueling a hunter and I can see 2 flares on the ground and our detect traps been nerfed omfg. I thought it was alright to go for the jump cuz I didnt see a trap BUT no, the trap now works like us rogues "Now u see it, Now u dont!"
It just goes to show how badly rogues have been abused in the past that we consider this patch a decent upgrade for us.

What luving? please cite at least one that makes an impact. if anything this patch is another nerf.
Poisons you say?...
How many time you'll be switching poisons in stealth? Really how many times? :D
Man it's a joke, I don't know who needed it... Maybe some reallgeeky pro who wants to change his poisons on BGs each 30-60 seconds, But spending enoth money for poisons already, and the fact that poisons still are removed while zoning is already enoth.

We are more gimped then ever with this patch..
I'm an undead rogue so i dont have to fight shamans much but bladeflurry no longer taking out totems is bullshit..
