Give Seal Fate a Chance!

Well I took the dive last nite and respecced to a 30/8/13 build. Then immediatly went out to duel. Man was I frustrated. After depending on a 21/8/22 for so long its hard to quit prep cold turkey... and I think thats pretty accurate preparation is a drug for rogues.

So tonite it continues. Im not sure where I will be but I definitly will try some world PvP. Maybe ill get back to ganking in STV for a bit to boost my confidence with this build.

I will definitly keep it for an MC run or two to see how my DPS increases. I have been ranking about 10th -15th on damage meters in MC so it will be interesting to see how much of a DPS boost this build gives me over my standard cookie cutter prep build.

Right away I noticed:
> Slower Speed (missing Camo 5 in Favor of MoD 5)
> Missing Second Vanish for handling mages. (I lost to two mages, not used to that)

Feel free to suggest a different play style or any tips you can think of to help me with the transition. If I can get the nack of it I will be transitioning to a 31/8/12 for a 120 Energy build. Seeing as I am at 0/8 Nightslayer that wont be happening anytime soon though.

I'm not entirely sure what the DPS difference is between those two builds, but I think you'll like it. Personally, I found myself relying on Preparation way too much in PvP to the point where I couldn't fight well without it. The additional combo points you gain with a SF build are quite handy and can really help you out in long fight situations (warrior/paladin). Good luck with the build.

I've used both builds for long periods of time. You will absolutley notice a difference in MC with the sealed fate.
I love the sealed fate build and I'm looking forward to 120 energy (1 piece of NS away >:)

Against Mages: You no longer have preperation to save. Therefore, you must be quick. Sprint/ambush when the time is right, and land a backstab if you can before he roots you. The key to this fight without preparation is using your blinding powder at the right time.
