Why Reinvent the Wheel?
Well I am always looking for ways to add content and overall usefulness to this blog/website. After seeing Ming's AEP system I thought it would be a good idea to make some sort of upgrade guide. When I posted my first version on the WoW Rogue Forums I was immediatly informed that something like this already existed and it seems to be very well done. If you check out www.shadowpanther.net youll find a really great set of armor charts that encompasses alot of end game equipment. He even includes an AEP value in the chart. No need to reinvent the wheel here.

Shadowpanther isnt yet updated for the revised AEP system though is it? Can we find out if there are plans for that one being updated?
I have been using that table for quite a bit now.
I am trying to get in contact with shadow panther. Hopefully we can get it updated it is very complete.
Here's the thing I think is wrong with Ming's latest system. He says:
"For me, it would take 22 attack power to get 1% damage increase to match the 1% crit."
The only way you will get 1% damage increase from 1% crit is if you have a 0% chance to crit to start with. If you were using a sword that hit for 1 damage every second over 100 seconds you would do 100 damage at 0% crit. If you gained 1 crit you would do 101 damage over 100 seconds, you would see a damage increase of 1%:
101/100=1.01=1% damage increase.
But most rogues have 20-30% crit chance. For a rogue with a 30% crit chance he is doing 130 damage over 100 seconds, and an increase of another 1% to crit would result in:
131/130=1.00769=.769% damage increase
Or is my math off?
